Example
When a passenger purchases a ticket for a specified crossing,
their mobile phone number is taken and used to text a message to them
before they start their journey, telling them of any disruption affecting
their crossing.
Tyrell can simultaneously fax/email all local radio and television
stations informing them of cancellations and delays to services. Information
is automatically forwarded to the BBC Travel mainframe computer for
onward use by any local BBC network.
