The IDS Fax
Service allows clients to send a single message to multiple
fax destinations. The IDS uses over 200 dedicated fax lines,
allowing for the rapid distribution of fax messages.
The system has a number of key features,
namely:
Message Management
Messages that are going to the same destination are grouped
together and sent as one fax, reducing transmission time.
Intelligent queuing ensures traffic from multiple clients
continues to flow through the gateway, even when very large
faxes are sent to large numbers of locations.
Data Replication
and System Resilience
Multiple applications working in a cluster configuration
allow continuous operation in the case of a hardware component
failing.
Message
Statistics
Message failures are monitored internally, with destinations
that constantly fail being recorded, with feedback being provided
to the customer as part of our customer support.
